As you may know I live in Southern Alberta, the foothills. It's basically rural and there are lots of ranches and farms around here. We were out for a drive on sunday and we see a cowboy with his dog running beside him trying to keep up. The funny thing about what we were seeing is that the cowboy wasn't riding a horse, he was riding a bike. But he had on the Cowboy boots, hat, wranglers, and big belt buckle! Was he looking for his horse? Does his horse not work on Sundays or did he want to see if his boots would slip off the peddles. That got me to thinking are they always dressed in full cowboy attire even at home? Do they ever wear sneakers, or other kinds of footwear? I think on the ice they wouldn't be very safe for walking, as they don't have good grips. Well I think I'll pay attention now when I go to the Bowling Alley (neighbourhood bar, that's not really a bowling alley), and see what all the cowbys are wearing.
