Seinfeld

Does anyone miss Seinfeld? I do. I think when I get paid, I may have to buy a dvd of Seinfeld. I just got back from the bowling alley(I'm checking all my spelling mistakes as I go so I don't look like I had too much wine) Close talker, Elaine crazy dancing, Kramer's shower, George yelling. I miss it all. Too bad they don't play the reruns on A&E or Discovery.

Good Weekend

Well it is Tuesday morning and I have to think about going to work and getting ready, except today I have to go to my brother's house to shower. That's right, Andy and I worked on the bathroom all weekend. It was 22 degrees Saturday and Sunday but instead of taking off somewhere I wanted to get the little bathroom project underway again. So Andy's a carpenter so all the construction stuff was easy for him, but now we're at the plumming stage and yeah, he's no plummer. So we have no water for the time being. Oh well, at least I can go just up the street.
The other fun thing that happened. I'm not sure if I wrote that we met Kash's sister's (what a small world eh) anyway, the owner's of Rio and Storm (the sisters) came over with the girls and they met. Anyway they had a great time together and Kash and Rio could be twins, they look exactly alike. I think they remembered each other because they played together differently then they do with other dogs. So I'm sure we'll have them over again, they were really nice.

HollaWhat?

I was listening to some music today and Gwen Stefani came on and I am thinking, I have no idea what a Hollaback girl is. Can some tell me? Am I really dumb for not getting it?

The Roughnecks Rule!

Sunday, Andy and I went to the Lacrosse game at the Saddledome. Now we've been going to the games pretty faithfully for the last two years to support the Roughnecks, I didn't really know what lacrosse was before he took me to my first game on our first date (ahhhhh isn't that sweet!) I thought the big logo of the Roughneck in the middle of the turf was a monkey with a hard hat on, I thought it was weird they would have a picture of a monkey! I still think it looks like a monkey. Anyway, we would buy the cheap tickets (nosebleed section) you can get at the co-op last year they were $10. this year I think they are thirty something. So we decided to buy them from Ticketmaster right before we left for the game and got them emailed right to us so we wouldn't have to stand in line. I was thinking that something was wrong because we payed $30 each plus the taxes and stuff because on the seating arrangements they looked pretty good. The seats were wicked, club seats only five rows from the glass! We never had such good seats. It was awesome, and they totally killed Toronto and got a bye for the first round of the playoffs. But, there is always a but. I was sitting to this guy, who I don't think loved anything more than the Roughnecks. He yelled the whole game all the time, he had a sign that said something about the ref being blind, and he would stannd up on the arms of the chairs a row ahead of us to cheer ( I'm glad he didn't fall on me). To top it off, he was with his mom and they both had on the autographed jerseys. The best part was after all the fights ( there were lots of fighting, but I think I'm the only one in the world who doesn't like to watch people fighting, I think it's awful and really stupid, I never jumped the net in the middle of a tennis match to beat up my opponent, but oh well that's just me) Oh yeah after the fight, the guys mom said kinda loud, "You watch it Doyle, you're next" it was just odd and pretty funny to hear this mom say that.
Anyway it was a great game.
After the game, we went to The Home Depot and bought a bathtub. We are finally going to get this bathroom taken care of. It's really awful, now that there are ants that sometimes come out of somewhere and the drain was plugged, so it was like I was bathing with ants. T.M.I, sorry too gross eh.
On a final note, went to the Bowling Alley on Saturday for Andy's pool banquet. I was still sick so I didn't drink hardly at all, a lot of water. It was pretty fun, there was a band and I danced a little. Andy and I really need to take dance lessons (Andy= white boy, no rhythm). It was the owner's last night so it got pretty busy. Do you ever wish you could go back in time, just like five minutes earlier. We were just leaving and heading for the bar to pay our tab, when this drunk asshole slaps my ass so hard, I turned around in shock and disbelief and he said something that an asshole would say. Anyway, I was just shocked and my eyes started to water. We left, but they kicked him out right then, and I convinced Andy not to kill him. But I really wish I had walked back to this guy and kicked him in the groin as hard as I could. If I could only turn back time. I'm not much of a fighter, but I would have loved to make him cry!

I'm bored

Well I am still sick, Andy and I started getting sick last weekend and it still hasn't gone away. I'm the annoying one who keeps clearing my throat every five seconds, darn cold. All I did all week ( I couldn't go to work, because I don't want to infect anyone) was play xbox. I finally found a game that I really like, Links 2004, golf. I think I'm pretty good, I kept winning the tournaments, excuse me while I pat myself on the back! Anyway I was hooked, but I want to try the Tiger Woods golf game and see which is better.
Well right now puppy and I are just hangin out. She's awfully tired from working with Andy all day. I'm home, and a little bored. I was going to go and see my brother because I haven't seen them in over a week because I'm sick. I called, but I think they're screening and didn't answer! Oh well, I do it too.
I am kinda watching Growing Up Gotti, it's funny how the other half lives. I thought I'd never watch that show, but it's amazing what you'll watch when you only have two channels.
Tuesday nights are usually Andy's pool night, and I watch crap when he's not here. Now if you have never seen Dog the Bounty Hunter, I think you should, even just once! For those of you not familiar with this show,Dog is this guy in his fifties with a dyed bleach blond mullet and I think he has a bald spot on the top. He used to be a bad guy and has spent time in jail. Now it's like he was born again and just wants to help people. He runs Da Kine Bail Bonds in Hawaii, and when the Perps (A.K.A the bad guys) fail to show up for court or something he hunts them like wild animals. But the funny thing is when he has them in custody, he tries to show them that what they're doing is wrong and that he is just trying to help them straighten their lives out. He is very sincere and I think he really means it, but yeah kinda funny.
His whole family works with him, and his wife sure is a site. She is short and stout to put it nicely, she wears really small clothes and big heels and her um.....she puts Dolly Parton to shame! And boy is she feisty!
I do actually learn things on t.v too. I checked out Christine's pictures from Dubai, the Burj Al Arab and I watched, I think it was Super Structures or something like that, and I watched how they built it, very cool building. They show a lot of motorcycle shows and oddly I like to see them sometimes. The O.C.C (Orange County Choppers) made a bike that looked like a CAT, those yellow bulldozers and stuff, it turned out pretty cool.
I also like biography, one day I watched Biographies on Kentucky Fried Chicken (I actually watched it twice because it was on again a couple days ago) McDonalds and Taco Bell, now I know how they all started, and the trials and tribulations of there success.
I haven't seen the O.C or E.R or Gilmore girls ( I miss their endless banter) or any normal shows in months, I guess I'll have to get the seasons on DVD when they come out.
Well I guess I'll go back to watching the Gotti's.

Spring has sprung

I love spring. I am thinking I must have the winter blues disorder, because as soon as it got warmer and the sun stays out longer, I have a much better appreciation for things and everything just seems better. I think I need to go to Florida for the winters or something. I painted my kitchen (which I think turned out very nice), and I even got out and raked my yard last weekend. I've never raked unless I was forced to, but I could tell that it did look better, then I filled up my firepit and burned stuff (fun!). I love getting the fire going, nice and big, I think I must've inherited that from my dad.
Andy and I went camping two summers ago in BC, and we got to our site were setting up the tent, it was sometime in the afternoon. Andy was setting up the tent, so I decided to get the wood and start a fire. Well Andy was busy and didn't notice what I was doing. Finally he looked up and noticed that I had the fire going and it was huge and I was beside it pretending to get warm. He looked at me like I was retarted! He said "Jen, it's thirty degrees out, I thought you were just going to get the wood ready". Then I looked around at the other campers and I think they were pointing and laughing, but I didn't care. It was a great fire.

I'm back

Well I'm back to my old self again I think. Had a nice Easter, got some treats. Went to Home Depot and got a few things to get the bathroom back to normal, but haven't worked on it yet. We also got an X-BOX to play with. Andy has never owned a video game system and has barely even played at all, shocking isn't it. Well he loves the x-box, it came with Halo 2, and I thought it was just some stupid game where you just kill everything, that's basically it but it is pretty cool! I got myself the Megaman anniversary game that has all Megaman 1-10. I just remember playing Megaman 2 when I was younger, and it's still good. So we 've both been playing lots, and my thumb hurts! Today two years ago Andy and I went on our first date. Hmmm, will I get flowers or a card....highly doubtful, but we'll wait and see.
It's a nice day here, I'm freezing of course but that's normal for me now. I think my hands may just drop off and fall on the floor and shatter! I had the flu last week, and I thoroughly enjoyed having a fever, I was actually warm!! I new I was feeling better on Sunday when I was cold again. Come back fever.

Things that have been going on with me...

I am back in Turner Valley.
I turned 28 on the 7th.
Kash ate half a pound of butter, then barfed it up.
Andy is turning 30 soon and is really freaked out about it.
Andy's "friend" had planned a suprise visit for his birthday and to try to break us up. Bitch!
I may have to kick some ass.
My bathroom is a war zone after Andy took everything apart, and hasn't put it back together.
I think Kash must have buried one of my slippers, so my feet are pretty cold.
I'm looking for a new job.
My ex-boyfriend is fixing my truck for me. Kinda weird.
He said I'm lucky to be alive after checking the truck out,the drive shaft was missing something?
I know nothing about mechanics.
Kash gained 13 pounds while I was home for three weeks!
Andy bought us a dishwasher! It's one that fits on the counter, but it doesn't so I'll be off to Ikea!
I really want to go away for a weekend, but we're poor.
I haven't gotten a paycheque in 6 weeks.
I watched Biker Buildoff and thought it was kinda cool.
Yesterday at work I rea People magazines, and that's about it.
Kash ate a wicker basket, or chewed it and left it all over the floor.
Butter barf stinks!
We might go for wing night at the Bowling Alley tonight.
I haven't done my Power 90 in two weeks, slacker.
We didn't do anything special for Valentines Day.
I took Kash on the bus in Calgary, she loved it.
I'm waiting for my digital camera to arrive in the mail.
I'll be pissed if psycho girl sends Andy a birthday present.
We have box seats for Fridays Lacrosse game!
Kash is really good at fetch, except I threw two of her toys on the roof, good aim.
My computer has the trojan horse virus and I don't know what to do about it? Help...
Kash split her toenail in half all the way down, poor girl.
I really like the show Myth Busters.
I think my face may really be damaged where I had the blackeye, it feels weird.
I have to go dog proof the kitchen, and move the butter away from the edge of the counter.
I think that just about covers it.

The weather outside is...

Well I just came in from sitting in the sun with shorts and a t-shirt on. It was sooo nice here today, 15 degrees! Puppy and I went for a walk and she had a play date with my friend Leanne's dog Alex. Now Kash is so dirty and wet dog smelly which is kinda yucky. But I thought I should just say how spring like it is here. No more shovelling ten foot snowbanks like last week! YAY!

Back to Reality

Well it's Wenesday, my first week back to reality. I haven't started back to work yet, so I am still on vaction mode, except I wake up before 6:00 and don't really know what to do that early in the morning. My solution is napping at around 8!
The teckie guys just left after hooking me back up to the internet, I switched to a new company because I hate Telus, and I get a free digital camera for signing up with them, Persona or Platium Communications. My best surprise of the day so far is that I have channels on my t.v, 2 maybe three. I think A&E and the Discovery Channel, I am going to be so smrt if I watch these all the time!
Well I was home for three weeks, I can't believe I'm back here already. It always sucks to leave PEI, it is very hard on me. I find it so hard to leave my family. They were out here for about three weeks at Christmas, then I was home for another three, they must've been sick of me by now anyway.
Well I came home to a bathroom that is a disaster, it's pretty yucky. Andy ran out of time and money to finish it, so I better get used to it. I think I'll buy a pair of shower shoes. My puppy has gotten bigger, and smarter. Yesterday I taught her shake a paw. She's so good at it now! I've also been teased by Andy about my eye non stop. it's almost healed, I can almost wink with my right eye again ;)

I went to trivia yada yada yada and I may have a slight concussion

Well we're all at home stuck in yet another blizzard. I am not doing too much at all today, especially trying not to move the right side of my face. I went out to trivia on Friday at Myron's, we almost won, and the drinks are so cheap. I am now nursing a totally swollen and black eye with a big gash on the side of my eye. I guess I induldged in too many of those cheap drinks.
Oh well, I'm almost 28 years old and you think I would have learned to not be retarted by now. I really can't get into what happened, some of it is a bit foggy, I did get my jacket and cell phone back, but unfortunately I haven't gotten my shoes back yet. Good thing it was only -30 or so that night with the windchill. This was one of the craziest nights I've had in a long time. I am thinking of writing a book with all my unbelievable stories. I would, however, have to write it under a fake name, so my mom doesn't find out all the trouble I get into! I am retarted.

There's a good sale at the liquor store!

Well it's just after 6 pm and I'm trying to decide what to do tonight. We just finished having Greco and it was pretty darn good. I haven't been doing too much since I've been in PEI, but it's been nice. I've been to trivia a couple times, watched some of the Australian Open which is pretty good too, gotten back into the Soap I used to watch, All My Children, and had a couple snowstorms to sit through. Played a little tennis with my mom and her group this morning, which was great because I really miss playing, there is no court in Turner Valley. Tonight we might go back to Myron's for trivia, we won last week. I haven't been getting into any trouble at all since I've been home so the next couple nights I should really have some fun. I only have a week left here, but I can't start thinking about that yet.

Hollywood

Well I guess everyone knows now that Brad and Jen are separating. I have to admit, I never thought those two would break up, and I am really sad that it is happening. I know I shouldn't really pay attention to people's lives that I know absolutely nothing about except the stuff I read in Us magazine or People. I know they lead lives that I can't even imagine, with all the money and fame, but still, it is sad when people break up. Maybe they will get back together. We can only hope, oh I went too far didn't I.

Back home

Well I am back on PEI, finally. Those of you who have never moved off PEI or never even lived here, may not know just how great it is to come home, if it is only for three weeks. I love being here. I get to live with my parents, and sister, hang out with my friends, relax, not go to work, and play with Big Dog. It is a great lif for the next three weeks, I may even get an allowance to go out with!
I met the newest member of the family, my sister's dog Desoto. I love dogs, we've always had a dog, so I've never really been scared of dogs ever. But then I met Big Dog. He is like a small cow, one of the brown cows with the white spots. So I had never met a dog the size of a calf before and he did frighten me a little. But it only took a few minutes for me to see that he is so gentle and will not try to eat me for dinner, although he may be able to swallow me whole.

I left Andy, in Alberta, he didn't have time to go on vacation. He is, however, at our house in Turner Valley redoing the bathroom. I guess is is mostly just ripped apart now and I am hoping that he is finished when I get back. It is so cold there he might not be working much this week. I think the wind chill is about -39.

I really don't miss Alberta one little bit, and I already have two more trips planned to come home again this summer. Two of my best friends are getting married, so I have to come home for those. It's so nice to have my friends again.
Well I better go shovel to earn my allowance for this week!
